Pacific Street Car Association's World Finals Rained Out!
November 22, 2004 The Pacific Street Car Association's World Finals at the Strip in Las Vegas was rained out after qualifying ended, Ron Weems' Chevy Lumina is in the number 4 spot with a 7.597 et @178.87 mph and Walter "Danny" Booker Lumina was in the number 8 spot with a 7.828 et @175.57 mph in Outlaw Street. Mark Washington's Chevy Camaro is in the number 5 spot with a 8.029 et @ 178.07 mph in Heavy Street. Eric Odom's Chevy Camaro is in the number 6 spot with a 8.074 et @ 170.99 mph in Real Street. Artis Houston's Chevy Nova is in the number 3 spot with a 8.774 et @ 155.06 mph and Shannon Chachere's Chevy Nova is in the number 7 spot with a 9.048 et @ 151.02 mph in Wild Street. The decision was made to complete the final race of 2004 at the opening PSCA event the Mickey Thompson Tires "Winternationals" Feb 25th - 27th 2005, Las Vegas Motor Speedway - Las Vegas, NV (!) leaving all undecided eliminator championships hanging for another three months. Ironically, many west coast racers making a return to southern California were stopped in their tracks by a freak snowstorm which virtually closed Interstate 15 in Victorville, CA!
