Knowing that the 2004 Super Gas National Champion was Afro American Jonathan Womack with a well desired win. I was not surprised when a nationally published magazine showed more interest in the runner-up than the winner. Yes, we do need a "Black Dragracer" Web Site so that history is not forgotten. Keep up the "GOOD WORK"

You're off to a great start with the website. Thanks for the pictures and comments from the Fontana Super Comp race.

I did make the trip to Texas and as luck would have it, I kick a rod in my new engine. Beside that it was a great trip and ready to do another one.

I notice that you have the Black Sunday Flyer posted on the site, is there anyone from So. Cal planning on attending. If so please let me know maybe we can hookup and travel together. I have threaten to race at this race the last couple of years after I attended as a spectator in 2002.

Hopefully in the near future I will have some news from the super category racers.

When talking about Black Drag Racers, you should also include multi-world champion and present racing team owner, Don Prudhomme. Don has been in drag racing for over 40 years and no one mentions anything about his black heritage. Is there some sort of gag order on mentioning that he is African American? I will keep bringing this up until someone says something, or he says something about it. Thanks for your time.

Can anyone tell me why we need a "Black Drag Racing" magazine? What's next a Hawaiian or Pakistani drag racing magazine? Yah I know the typical knee jerk response, will be not to include my "Opinion" and call me a racist but isn't this magazine by definition racist? Why don't we quit all the BS and try to live together like one people. I mean that's what we are, right?

It's good to see a site for black racers to talk about things and tell their accomplishments in the sport of drag racing! I had the chance to work for a NHRA Top Fuel team(tony schumacher-U.S.Army),and it really gave me a different look on blacks in pro drag racing!
