After a dismal qualifying session on Sat, the team worked hard on their Turbo Mustang to get the bugs out. They were able to solve their problems and make it to the finals.

Thanks to the sportsmanship of Steve Paulauskis and the WFO crew giving the Outcast team time to complete transmission repairs, they were able to run heads-up in the finals. LaFayette Williams 7.872 @ 182.97mph over Steve Paulauskis 7.857 @ 173.58.

The members of Team Outcast (LaFayette Williams, Gary Luckett, Bert Arnold and Dougie) want to extend their appreciation to Steve Paulauskis and the WFO crew. Due to their team waiting for repairs to be made to our transmission, we won Outlaw Street. "Steve Paulauskis said he was there to race, not to win by default".
