HISTORY IS MADE!!!!!!!!
History was made today by Jonathan Womack of Houston, Texas. Womack became the first BLACK to win a NHRA National Championship. Womack won the 2004 Super Gas National Championship at the 40th Annual Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals-Pomona, Calif. with a 0.018 RT and a 9.928 ET over Chip Rumis 0.053 RT, 9.916 ET in round 3. Womack won by 0.0231 seconds (approximately 5 feet).

Larry Bradshaw, Wins Super Gas @ LVMS - Las Vegas, Neveda In The Lucas Oil/NHRA Division 7 Event Nov 5-7, 2004!
Larry Bradshaw of Iron Eagle Racing outlasted the rain and over
200 competitors to the win Super Gas at the Lucas Oil/NHRA division 7 event. In
the final round Larry cut a perfect light (.000) and ran 7 thousandths off
a perfect number (10.077). Bradshaw is no stranger to winning he is
very competitive and has won championships in the Northern Calif Super Gas Assn. This is Bradshaw 1st Lucas Oil/NHRA win. "I'm sure there

LaFayette Williams Wins @ The PSCA Fall National In Outlaw Street At California Raceway - Fontana CA.
After a dismal qualifying session on Sat, the team worked hard on their Mustang to get the bugs out. They were able to solve their problems and make it to the finals.

Atron Brown Runner-Up @ The 20th Annual Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals At Maple Grove Raceway-Reading, Pa.
After starting the eliminations in the top spot with a 7.057 ET @ 187.57 MPH. Brown took care of business by defeating Kurt Matte, Craig Treble, and Steve Johnson to reach his third straight final and fifth of the year.

William "The Fat Lady" Hamilton Runner-Up In The Million Dollar Race!
William "The Fat Lady" Hamilton of Ohio was the runner-up for the second time in the Million Dollar Race at Memphis Motorsports Park.
The race was won by Gary Williams. Williams' hit a .013 reaction time to Hamilton’s late .092, and took a .058 margin of victory. Both cars were hitting high 4-second times on the Memphis eighth-mile track.
Hamilton is known for inventing a special trans brake button that is light-activated and goes by the name of "The Fat Lady".

Brown Wins The 50th Anniversary Mac Tools U.S. Nationals At Indianapolis Raceway Park!
Brown added a second win for the U.S. Army team with his second career Indy win and second season victory in a row by beating Shawn Gann in a close final.

Bryan Phillips' Wins At The 50th Anniversary Mac Tools U.S. Nationals!
Bryan Phillips of Alta Loma, CA. wins "Class" with his Stock Eliminator '68 Pontiac Firebird at the 50th Anniversary Mac Tools U.S. Nationals.Phillips' runs in E-Stock-Automatic, which basically is a Heads-Up runoff between cars that are in the same class.

Harold Martin Runner-Up At the 50th Anniversary Mac Tools U.S. Nationals
Martin capture the number one starting position for Monday's final eliminations with an 6.183 E.T. @ 229.12 MPH with his EFI & nitrous ACDelco Pro Modified Grand Am.In the final round against Jim Halsey, Martin had mechanical problems and had to shut off early.

Antron Brown Wins At The 17th Annual O'Reilly Midsouth Nationals-Memphis Teen.
Brown scored his first Pro Stock Bike win in just over a year when final-round foe Matt Smith, a first-time finalist competing in just his 13th NHRA event, jumped the Christmas Tree by a hundredth of a second.

IHRA - Harold Martin Zero to Hero Back to Zero!
After a dramatic turnaround and a runner-up finish at the season-opener Amalie Oil Ancira Nationals in San Antonio, TX., ACDelco-sponsored Harold Martin failed to make the cut at the U.S. Sports Scene.com Spring Nationals in Rockingham, NC April 23-25.Martin was in the field momentarily with a 6.27 but was bumped out by a slightly quicker Troy Critchley. Critchley was the last possible driver to attempt qualifying that was unqualified.

IHRA - Harold Martin Battles to a Runner-Up Finish in San Antonio!
Harold Martin completed a dramatic turnaround this past weekend by overcoming a major problem in qualifying to power his ACDelco Pro Modified Grand Am to a runner-up finish at the season-opening Amalie Oil Ancira Nationals in San Antonio, TX. This was Martin's second consecutive final round appearance in the IHRA's Hooters Drag Racing Series, coming on the heels of his runner-up performance at last year's World Finals in Rockingham, NC.
